The girls at the MAC counter all looked so exotic and trendy….people flocked to them. I spend hours experimenting with my new products to create different looks. I instantly felt more confident than I had in years. Of course this new look didn’t help me win my boyfriend back but I sure got a lot of attention from other potential love interests. I threw out all my Clinique products and literally went from ‘girl next door’ to ‘vampy vixen’ in one afternoon. I was willing to sacrifice half of my rent check in the name of beauty and a boys whose name I would soon forget. $200 is a lot of money for a 19 year old girl with an office job so that should tell you how desperate I was to look ‘sexy’. So on my lunch break I took a little trip to the MAC counter and promptly dropped $200 on a completely new look and never looked back.
